Darian Durant (North Carolina, 6th year) has been brilliant the last two seasons as the Roughriders starting QB. Not only does he have the fans believing in him, but more importantly his teammates do.

He has been to the dance both seasons since taking the reigns of the Rider Nation offense, which is remarkable in and of itself, but unfortunately it has not ended well. "Doubles" is a winner in spite of the disappointing finishes the last two seasons and all who know his heart and abilities believe he will be back to the dance many more times. That's a great thing for all CFL fans, as Darian is electric when he plays. He's resilient, relentless and an extremely explosive player that captivates you with his style of play.

Ryan Dinwiddie (Boise State, 5th year in the league, 2nd with Riders) has the familiarity with Doug Berry's offense and the only real game experience to boot. This gives him a leg up on Cole Berquist (Montana, 3rd year) and highly touted Chris Leak (Florida, 3rd in the league, 1st with Riders).

Bottom Line: Riders roll with Doubles; Dinwiddie waits in the wings; Berk competes with Leak to chart on the clipboard.

Round 1 continues with the Blue Jackets' Marian Gaborik taking on Magnus Paajarvi of the Oilers.
