CFL on TSN analyst Matt Dunigan breaks down the quarterback situation for each team heading into the 2012 regular season.

Anthony Calvillo, Utah State (19th CFL/15th Montreal)

Calvillo's back after another outstanding year and a contract extension during the off-season. This is great news for Montreal fans, but not so much for the four backup quarterbacks that are patiently waiting for their turn behind center.

Adrian McPherson Florida State (5th CFL/5th Montreal)

McPherson has been the most patient of them all. Adrian is the only backup QB in a Montreal uniform with any CFL experience, and when we've had the chance to watch this kid play, it's been special!

He's shown he has all the physical tools to play, now he just needs to continue to be patient and stay sharp. Easier said than done, just ask Adrian.

Josh Neiswander, Angelo State (2nd CFL/2nd Montreal)

Now here is a QB that really intrigues me. I like what I see in Josh as he has the ability to make all the throws this game requires and he reads the game almost effortlessly. I'm keeping close tabs on this QB for good reason.

The Als had no shortage of arms in camp as they had three more young QBs learning from football's all-time leading passer, Calvillo. Two of those three happened to be from CIS programs and Canadian. I love it!

Kyle Quinlan, McMaster (1st CFL/1st Montreal) dazzled us all last November, putting on one of the most amazing performances I've ever seen at any level of football, capping it off with a Vanier Cup victory and earning the Ted Morris Memorial Trophy for MVP of the game.

He has plenty of skills to work with and it's just a matter of refining his skill set as he heads back to McMaster to help his teammates defend the title.

Kyle is one step closer to making a CFL roster as is fellow CIS/Canadian born Kyle Graves, Acadia(1st CFL/1st Montreal) as they both now have a bit of experience in a pro camp atmosphere.

Round 2 kicks off with Pittsburgh's Evgeni Malkin taking on Eric Fehr of the Washington Capitals.
