Toronto, ON (July 23, 2012) – Following two weeks of intense online voting that saw more than 4 million total votes cast from coast to coast, TSN and Kraft Canada tonight announced that Trenton, ON, has been named the 10th and final winning community in this year's Kraft Celebration Tour.
As part of the Kraft Celebration Tour, Trenton hosts a special edition of SPORTSCENTRE featuring anchors Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole when they wrap up the tour live from the southern Ontario community on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. ET on TSN.
Trenton also receives $25,000 from Kraft Canada to put towards improvements to the track at Trenton High School.
With a population of 20,000, the city of Trenton sits on the shores of the Bay of Quinte and is the southern gateway for the Trent-Severn Waterway. Trenton brought home the victory with 264,267 votes, while Lindsay amassed a total of 182,477 votes in support of its nomination.
In total, more than 4 million votes were recorded by Canadians from across the country.
