Rod and Kate are making a splash in Wilmot, Ont. as the township has been named the ninth winning community in this year's Kraft Celebration Tour. As part of the Kraft Celebration Tour, Wilmot receives $25,000 to put towards creating the Township of Wilmot Splash Pad.
Wilmot will also host a special edition of SPORTSCENTRE featuring anchors Rod Smith and Kate Beirness when they broadcast live from the Ontario community on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m. ET on TSN.

The $25,000 prize money from the Kraft Celebration Tour will go towards creating a new splash pad for the community.
Wilmot was named to the Kraft Celebration Tour after winning a national, head-to-head online vote over St. James Town (Toronto). Wilmot brought home the victory with 207,324 votes, while St. James Town (Toronto) amassed a total of 79,353 votes in support of its nomination.
Canadians can decide the final winning community for the Kraft Celebration Tour today until 12 noon ET tomorrow, as the last community match-up – Dryden, Ont. vs. Fort Frances, Ont. – is now featured on KraftCelebrationTour.ca and Tourneedecelebrationkraft.ca.
During the voting period, SPORTSCENTRE on TSN and SPORTS 30 on RDS profile each match-up with a look at the duelling communities and their proposed community projects. Results of each vote will be announced the following weekday on SPORTSCENTRE and SPORTS 30.
