The Chicago Cubs continue to lead the TSN.ca MLB Power Rankings, ahead of the rapidly-rising Boston Red Sox.

Boston has won seven of their past eight games, scoring 78 runs in those eight games. They have the league's best offence, and have a team OPS of .944 this month. This has lifted the Red Sox from five to two in this week's rankings.

Other teams making moves up the chart include the St. Louis Cardinals, going from 12 to eight, after winning four of six. The San Francisco Giants, winners of five straight, make a four-spot jump as well, from 13 to nine. Four straight wins helps the Colorado Rockies climb from 18 to 13.

Heading the wrong way, the Toronto Blue Jays slide from nine to 15, while the Cleveland Indians drop from 15 to 18.
