Country's best curlers compete to represent Canada in 2010

With the right to represent Canada at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games on the line, the cream of Canada's curling crop heads to Edmonton this weekend to compete in the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings.

TSN has exclusive live coverage of every Men's and Women's draw beginning with Draw 1 on Sunday at 3 pp et/Noon pt on TSN.

The Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings uses a round-robin format followed by a playoff round. The three-year qualification process that began with the 2006 season has left the eight best Men's and Women's teams in the country one step away from representing Canada at the upcoming 2010 Winter Games. 

Both the men's and women's fields for the week-long event boast impressive records including five Scotties Tournament of Hearts championships, 12 Tim Hortons Brier championships and a combined nine World championships.

Competing on the men's side are Glenn Howard, Kevin Martin, Kevin Koe, Randy Ferbey, Jeff Stoughton, Jason Gunnlaugson, Pat Simmons and Wayne Middaugh. 

The women's side features Jennifer Jones, Shannon Kleibrink, Cheryl Bernard, Stefanie Lawton, Crystal Webster, Kelly Scott, Krista McCarville and Amber Holland.

TSN's acclaimed curling broadcast team is on hand for afternoon and evening draws with Vic Rauter calling the action alongside analyst and Olympic gold medallist Linda Moore and analyst and former Brier champion Ray Turnbull. The trio is the most recognized and respected curling broadcast team in sports television.  Calling the action for the morning draws is Bryan Mudryk with two-time Brier and World Champion and Olympic gold medallist, Russ Howard providing analysis. Along with exclusive coverage of every Season of Champions event, TSN's curling broadcast schedule also includes extensive live curling coverage from the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Leading up to both the women's final and men's final, TSN will air a 30-minute Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings championship special previewing the championship matches. will provide on-demand access to all of TSN's coverage of the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings following the conclusion of each live television broadcast as well as news and highlights throughout the tournament.

In addition to on-demand coverage on, TSN has partnered with to present live online streaming of select games from the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings.  The live online coverage is available on a pay-per-view basis and includes select non-televised games.
