ABBOTSFORD, B.C. - Newfoundland and Labrador will have a chance to sweep the Canadian senior curling championships.

Glenn Goss and Cathy Cunningham each won their semifinals Saturday to move both Newfoundland and Labrador rinks into finals.

Goss advanced after scoring four points in the second end en route to a 10-4 blowout against Ontario's Brian Lewis.

In women's play, Cunningham used a three-point sixth end to defeat Nova Scotia's Nancy Delahunt 5-3.

Goss and Cunningham aren't the only skips seeking a provincial sweep.

Alberta's Rob Armitage and Cathy King each earned buys into the Sunday finals after topping the men's and women's round robins, respectively.
