If dominant fighters are what you're looking for, they don't come more accomplished than Cris Cyborg, who returns to the Octagon on Saturday in the main event of UFC Fight Night Brasilia.

Any victory over Cyborg would have to be considered among the greatest upsets in MMA history and the opportunity to do just that belongs to Lina Lansberg, who enters the fight with a 6-1 professional record.

Lansberg, however, will be Cyborg's second battle of the week after scoring a victory over her difficult weight cut that saw her drop 24 pounds between arriving in Brazil on Monday and stepping on the scale Friday morning.

The 31-year-old  believes the reduced amount of time she spent in camp hampered her ability to drop to the catchweight for the fight.

"Thinking about this, I need 12 weeks to make 140, I really needed 12 weeks and because I only got eight weeks it’s a little close to the fight," Cyborg told TSN.ca.

"I trained double because of that, but I accepted the fight and it’s a great opportunity to fight in Brazil and in the main event."

"I’ve trained really hard for this fight, I always train hard but this camp I’ve trained more, because I was worried that my weight wasn’t going down."

This will be Cyborg's second fight in the UFC after her first round destruction of Leslie Smith at UFC 198, but this is the first time she will be the last fighter to make the walk, an achievement she's proud to experience.

"Before my last fight in Brazil I thought if that fight happened it would open a lot of doors and one of the doors that opened was the chance to fight in the UFC again in Brazil and in the main event," said Cyborg.

Smith is the most recent fighter to suffer a first round defeat at the hands of the Brazilian, but not nearly the first.  Cyborg has not seen the second round of a fight since 2013 and hasn't had a non KO or TKO finish since 2008.

Still, she isn't taking Lansberg lightly and is prepared to go as long as necessary.

"She’s a 145 pound fighter, she has lots of Muay Thai fights and kickboxing, she likes to strike which is a great fight for me because I like to stand and strike," said Cyborg.  "It should be an exciting fight for the fans if she does everything she says and it will be a war and it will be nice, I’m ready to go five rounds."

While Lansberg should be credited for taking this fight, it's impossible for fans to not long for a super fight between Cyborg and one of the promotions bigger names such as Miesha Tate or Ronda Rousey.

The Curitiba, Brazil native is ready if and when they are.

"I like to challenge myself, that’s what I’m doing at 140 pounds," said Cyborg.  "Usually a champion doesn’t go down (in weight) they go up like (Conor) McGregor, but I fight at 140 because of the challenge, maybe these girls don’t want to challenge themselves."

"Just eat more pizza and make 145 pounds, you can train better when you eat more.  I’m willing to go to 140 to make super fights for the fans but I can’t change this, the girls have to do this."

As for another fight at 140 pounds, the veteran is not sure one way or another if it will happen again unless she's offered a fight against one of the best.

"After this fight I’ll have to think about it, I need a break to get my head right," said Cyborg.  "I’ll sit down with my team and see.  If I make 140 again It will have to be a super fight."

"It’s really hard to make 140 and it’s not just about cutting the weight during the week, it’s the training camp, you’re in a bad mood all the time and you train all day and you have no life,  it’s really hard."
