Danis makes 50 saves as IceCaps edge Penguins

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Chris Terry scored his second goal of the game in overtime and Yann Danis 50 saves as the St. John's IceCaps edged the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 3-2 Sunday in American Hockey League action.
Sven Andrighetto also scored for the IceCaps (12-11-1), who let a 2-0 lead slip away before recovering to win in overtime.
Oskar Sundqvist and Chad Ruhwedel scored for the Penguins (14-4-3).
The IceCaps were outshot 52-25 but Danis kept his team in it, particularly in the third period when St. John's was outshot 17-5.
Casey DeSmith stopped 22 shots for the Penguins.
St. John's scored twice on eight power-play opportunities, while the Penguins were good on one of three chances.
