OTTAWA - The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds made a pair of moves before Thursday's deadline for transactions involving over-age Ontario Hockey League players.

The Greyhounds acquired defenceman Anthony DeAngelo from the Sarnia Sting in exchange for centre Anthony Salinitri, a second-round pick this year, another second-rounder in '17 and a fourth-rounder in '18. The Greyhounds also sent centre Charley Graaskamp to the Sudbury Wolves for a fourth-round pick in '16 and a conditional fourth-round pick in '18.

Ottawa acquired Curtis Meighan from the Kitchener Rangers for an eighth-round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection. The 67's also sent forward Erik Bradford to the Owen Sound Attack for a third-round pick in the 2017 draft and a second-round pick in '18.

Meighan had two goals and 14 assists in 36 games this season for the Rangers.

"Curtis is a solid contributor, a local kid who will excel for us down the stretch as he gets a chance to complete his junior career at home," Ottawa general manager Pat Higgins said in a statement.

Bradford, meanwhile, had 35 points (12-23) for Ottawa in 37 games this season.

The Rangers also acquired goaltender Jake Paterson from the Saginaw Spirit for a third-round pick in '17 and a second-rounder in '18.

The Wolves also traded forward Nathan Pancel to the Peterborough Petes for a second-round pick next year and a third-round selection in '17. Sudbury also acquired blue-liner Reagan O'Grady from the Kingston Frontenacs for a fourth-round pick this year, a third-rounder in '16, a second-round selection in '17 and a fifth-round pick in '19.

The Plymouth Whalers shipped forward Liam Dunda to Owen Sound for a third-round pick next year and a fourth-rounder in '17. The Oshawa Generals acquired goaltender Jason DaSilva's playing rights from the Peterborough Petes for a 10th-round pick in '16.

DaSilva is currently playing at the Junior B level with the Guelph Hurricanes but will be available if needed later this season.

The OHL's regular trade deadline is Friday at noon Eastern Time.

Also Thursday, the OHL announced that the London-Kitchener game that was postponed Wednesday due to inclement weather has been rescheduled for Jan. 20 at Budweiser Gardens.
