You can see the blood, sweat and tears. You can feel the tension. Yes, when all those factors are present, it must be that time of year again: the NHL Combine.
The top 100 draft-eligible players are set to convene in Toronto on Friday and Saturday for the 2010 edition, for what promises to be a rigorous series of physical, mental and medical tests.
The spotlight will be primarily on Windsor Spitfires forward Taylor Hall and Plymouth Whalers centre Tyler Seguin - one of whom will likely go as the No. 1 pick at the NHL Draft in June - but there will be several other names of note in attendance as well, like Cam Fowler, Erik Gudbranson, goaltenders Calvin Pickard and Jack Campbell, and more domestic and international hopefuls.
