After trade, Penguins use eighth selection on Pouliot

After sending Jordan Staal to the Carolina Hurricanes, The Pittsburgh Penguins used the eighth pick acquired in the deal to continue the run on defencemen, taking Derrick Pouliot of the WHL's Portland Winterhawks.
Pouliot finished second in scoring among Portland blue-liners in 2011-12 with 59 points (11-48) in 72 games.
