The Anaheim Ducks will be without the services of defenceman Ben Lovejoy for six-to-eight weeks with a fractured right finger.

The 30-year-old incurred the injury in the Ducks' 4-1 loss on Sunday night to the San Jose Sharks.

Lovejoy is in his third season with Ducks. In nine games so far this season, Lovejoy has an assist and seven minutes in penalties.

The Ducks are next in action on Tuesday night when they visit the Chicago Blackhawks.
