Anaheim, CA - The Anaheim Ducks placed forward Pat Maroon and defenseman Bryan Allen on injured reserve among a slew of roster moves on Wednesday.
Maroon suffered a lower-body injury after getting hit by Buffalo defenseman Josh Gorges in Monday's 5-1 win. The 26-year-old has three assists through three games this season.
Allen, who also has a lower-body injury, has yet to play this season.
Goaltender John Gibson was assigned to the Norfolk Admirals, the team's AHL affiliate. The 21-year-old, who appeared in four games against Los Angeles in the Western Conference semifinals last season, has not played since allowing six goals in the season-opening loss to Pittsburgh.
Gibson will play two games with the Admirals before returning to Anaheim.
The Ducks also recalled goaltender Jason LaBarbera and forward Chris Wagner from Norfolk.
