NYON, Switzerland - UEFA has ordered Dynamo Kyiv to close part of the Olympic Stadium when the club hosts Everton in the Europa League because of fan disorder.

UEFA's disciplinary panel acted Wednesday after fans invaded the pitch and clashed with security staff during a match against Guingamp last week. Play was briefly stopped during Dynamo's 3-1 win.

Dynamo officials claimed provocation by visiting French fans who turned tricolour flags sideways to resemble Russian flags.

UEFA says the Ukrainian club must close sector 21 of the stadium — which hosted the 2012 European Championship final — when its hosts Everton in the last 16 on March 19.

Dynamo was also fined 70,000 euros ($77,500).
