The Edmonton Oilers named Taylor Hall and Jordan Eberle full-time alternate captains on Tuesday to serve alongside team captain Andrew Ference.

It's the third season in which Hall and Eberle worn an 'A' on their jerseys for Edmonton. They were among the six assistant captains that the team rotated through in the 2013 shortened season and the four that were used last season.

"Andrew is second to none in the League with his leadership... I believe Taylor and Ebs have earned full-time spots," said Oilers head coach Dallas Eakins through Twitter.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who was an assistant captain last year, will not be in 2014-15.

The Oilers tweeted that Eakins "had conversations with Nugent-Hopkins and (Matt) Hendricks and expects significant leadership from them."

Eberle, 24, and Hall, 22, are both entering their fifth seasons with the Oilers. Eberle has 96 goals and 221 points in 275 career games, while Hall has 92 goals and 225 points in 246 games.
