Rashad Evans returns to the Octagon and the light heavyweight division at UFC 225 in Chicago when he faces Anthony Smith, who will be making his debut at 205 pounds.

Evans contested his last two bouts in the middleweight division, suffering losses to Daniel Kelly and Sam Alvey last year.

The former UFC light heavyweight champion is on a four fight losing streak overall dropping his last two bouts at 205 LBS to Glover Teixeira and Ryan Bader.

The 38-year-old is 19-7-1 overall in his professional career.

Smith will also be moving up from the middleweight division, though this will be his first ever professional bout in the light heavyweight class.

He is coming in off a loss to Thiago Santos at Fight Night Belem in February.  Prior to that setback he was victorious in three straight bouts with wins over Elvis Mutapcic, Andrew Sanchez and Hector Lombard.

Smith has a professional record of 28-13.

The event will take place at United Center on June 9.
