Buffalo Bills

When mining for fantasy starters, the Bills' roster is one of the last places to look, with RB C.J. Spiller being the only true difference maker. Spiller is poised for a breakout season and should come out of the gates strong with four of his first six games at home. The Bills also get to face a potentially short-handed Patriots squad in Week 1. After their late bye (Week 12), the Bills play only one game in the friendly confines of Ralph Wilson Stadium, but that could help them avoid bad late season weather in Buffalo.

Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins are hoping the additions of WR Mike Wallace, WR Brandon Gibson, and TE Dustin Keller are enough to open up their offence for second-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill. They will have their answer early in the season as they play three of their first four on the road. The Dolphins schedule looks favourable on paper for a fantasy running back, and RB Lamar Miller is primed to take advantage. If the Dolphins' offensive line plays well, Miller could be a star this fantasy season.

New England Patriots

The Patriots may be without TE Rob Gronkowski when the season opens, but that won't stop their offence from putting up fantasy points. RB Stevan Ridley and RB Shane Vereen may be relied on more in 2013 and could get off to a hot starts against the Bills and Jets sub-par run defences. QB Tom Brady will lead his team against several high-powered offences, which could force him to fill up boxscores. It's a shame to see one of their two games versus the fantasy friendly Buffalo defence sitting in the Week 17 slot.

New York Jets

The home opener will be a more difficult game than originally thought after the Jets traded CB Darrelle Revis to the Buccaneers. Whether it's Mark Sanchez or Geno Smith under centre, the Jets' offence will return to their run-first ways as they try to shelter their quarterbacks. RB Chris Ivory has a favourable schedule, especially come the fantasy playoffs when he gets the Raiders, Panthers and Browns. If he can stay healthy, Ivory could turn his new opportunity as a starter into something special in fantasy.
