NFC North

Chicago Bears

With the addition of Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery to their receiving corps, and Jay Cutler and Matt Forte back healthy, the Bears are in position to keep up with the high powered offences of the Packers and Lions in the NFC North. Chicago will also be aided by a decent schedule that includes three of their late season games played in domes, which should help Culter's stats as the year winds down.

Detroit Lions

Aside from a stretch in the middle of the season that will see the Lions play four of five games away from Detroit, the Lions have a favourable schedule in 2012. They will test themselves against the 49ers, Eagles and Bears in the first half of the year, but the Lions' offence showed last season that they can produce against almost any opponent. Barring injury they should continue to be one of the league's best passing attacks.

Green Bay Packers

The Packers get to open the year with two smash mouth games against the 49ers and Bears, although both games will be played at Lambeau Field. To make matters worse, their matchup with the Bears will be on a short week. After their trying first two weeks, the Packers schedule becomes much more appealing, including a late bye week to help get healthy for the post-season.

Minnesota Vikings

With Adrian Peterson working his way back from injury, the Vikings get a break early in the season with the Jaguars and Colts in Weeks 1 and 2. However, it's the Vikings late season schedule that may strike fear into fantasy drafters. The Vikings are forced to meet the Bears and Packers a total of four times in the final six weeks, in addition to a Week 16 matchup with Texans.
