BLED, Slovenia -- Andreanne Poulin of Ile-Bizard, Que., and Marc-Andre Servant of Vaudreuil, Que., were third after the short dance Friday at the fifth stop on the ISU Junior Grand Prix figure skating circuit.
Poulin and Servant scored a personal-best 51.57 points in the short dance. Alexandra Aldridge and Daniel Eaton of the United States led at 58.46 and Anna Yanovskaya and Sergey Mozgov of Russia were second at 53.53.
Poulin and Servant were third at the second stop on the circuit earlier this month in Lake Placid.
Caelen Dalmer of Victoria and Shane Firus of North Vancouver, in only their second international event, are sixth at 47.93, also a personal best.
In men's competition. 13-year-old Roman Sadovsky of Vaughan, Ont., took 10th spot.
Joshua Farris of the U.S., won the gold medal, Boyang Jin of China was second and Alexander Samarin of Russia third.
Sadovsky earned 153.41 points, about five points off his personal best score achieved in a third place finish at Lake Placid.
"I achieved my goal of a top-10 finish knowing it was a strong field," said Sadovsky.
In women's competition, Julianne Seguin of Longueuil, Que., placed 10th after the short program.
The women's free skate and the free dance are on Saturday.
