The captivating drama and artistry of world-class figure skating is back on CTV and TSN with the 2012 Skate Canada International, running October 26-28 from the WFCU Centre in Windsor, ON. Live coverage begins with the Ladies and Pairs Short Programs on Friday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. ET on TSN.

CTV's coverage of the 2012 Skate Canada International is also available on CTV.ca, the CTV social app, and on the CTV mobile channel. Fans on-the-go can watch TSN's coverage of the event on TSN Mobile TV.

CTV and TSN are the official broadcasters of Skate Canada domestic events. The networks' coverage is led by the industry's top figure skating broadcast team of Brian Williams, Rod Black, Tracy Wilson, and Sara Orlesky.

The 2012 Skate Canada International features some of figure skating's biggest stars led by a strong Canadian contingent. Two-time World Champion Patrick Chan headlines the Men's event. The Ladies competition features reigning national champion Amélie Lacoste and rising star Kaetlyn Osmond, who recently won gold at the Nebelhorn Trophy. Canada has two strong entries in Ice Dance with Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, defending World Champions and Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games gold medallists, and Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier, who are making their Grand Prix debut after winning gold at the US International Figure Skating Classic earlier this fall. The Pairs competition includes reigning national champions Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford, who finished fifth at last year's World Championships.

International stars include four-time World Champions Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy of Germany and Japan's Akiko Suzuki, who won bronze at last year's World Championships.

Brian Williams hosts the 2012 Skate Canada International, bringing his extensive experience covering the Olympic Winter Games and Canadian and World Figure Skating Championships. Rod Black, the voice of figure skating in Canada, is in the broadcast booth with analyst Tracy Wilson, a decorated Canadian figure skating champion. Reporting rinkside and backstage is Sara Orlesky, who covered figure skating events at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
In addition to Canada, the 2012 Skate Canada International will be broadcast in the following countries: Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, Switzerland, and the United States.
