OTTAWA - Kelowna, B.C., has been chosen host of 2014 Skate Canada International.

The event, part of figure skating's international Grand Prix circuit, will be held Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 at Prospera Palce.

Skate Canada International is the second stop on the annual ISU Grand Prix series. The other events are hosted by the U.S., China, France, Russia and Japan.
