After one year with the Oakland Athletics, Brett Lawrie has agreed to a deal worth $4.125 million with the Chicago White Sox, according to MLB Network Insider Jon Heyman.

Joining Lawrie on the list of former Jays locking down jobs for 2016 is 3B Danny Valencia, who Heyman reports has agreed to stay with the Oakland Athletics in a deal worth $3.15 million.

Lawrie hit .260 with 16 home runs and 60 RBI in 149 games with the Athletics last season. The Langley, B.C. native was traded to Oakland in November 2014 for reigning American League MVP Josh Donaldson.

Valencia was claimed off waivers by the A's in August and hit .284 with 11 home runs and 37 RBI in 47 games.
