Cristiano Ronaldo stole the show Friday, scoring three goals as Portugal drew with Spain, so whose turn is it going to be to shine on Day 3?

Saturday at the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ sees the busiest slate of games yet, with games available across the TSN Platform.

Things gets started bright and early with coverage kicking off at 5:30 am et ahead of a Group C battle between France and Australia. The stars are out as Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann and Paul Pogba look to get their World Cup off on the right foot. Catch all the action LIVE from Kazan Arena across the TSN Network, CTV, TSN.ca, TSN Radio and streaming on TSN Direct.

“For me, France are the most talented. France have left 10 players behind that could probably play in pretty much any side in the World Cup,” TSN’s Steven Caldwell said.

Game 2 has its fair share of star power, too, as Lionel Messi and Argentina take on Iceland in their first ever World Cup game. Iceland, a country with a population of roughly 330,000, is set to become the smallest country in terms of population to ever play a game at the World Cup.

Iceland has neutralized big guns on big stages before. At Euro 2016, they kept Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal off the scoresheet in their first group match for a 0-0 draw.

"We are always going to be underdogs," Icelandic winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson said. “So people will be looking for us, definitely and seeing how we are doing. The opposition is going to give us more respect than they did in the past, though.”

Even with Messi, Argentina can’t afford to overlook anyone in the tournament. They almost missed the World Cup if not for three goals from Messi on the final day of qualifying.

“We just saw a superlative performance from Ronaldo and Messi is more than capable of that. He’s going to have to step up to that kind of level if they are going to have success. It’s up to him to drive this team,” Caldwell said.

“It’s going to be exciting against a tough Icelandic side who will make it difficult for Argentina.”

Tune in at 8:30 am et for coverage across the TSN Network, CTV, TSN.ca, TSN Radio and streaming on TSN Direct.

The third match sees Peru take on Denmark at Mordovia Arena at 12pm et before things wrap up at 3pm et with Croatia facing off against a talented Nigerian side looking to take advantage of a wide-open Group D. Both games are available on TSN1, TSN4, CTV, TSN.ca, TSN Radio and streaming on TSN Direct.
