CLEVELAND - Matt Frattin is keeping the Toronto Marlies' playoff chances alive.

Frattin scored his 21st of the season 1:06 into overtime as Toronto rallied past the Lake Erie Monsters 4-3 on Friday night in American Hockey League action.

The Marlies are now four points behind the Milwaukee Admirals for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Admirals picked up a point in their 3-2 shootout loss to the Texas Stars later Friday.

Trailing by two entering the third period, Toronto (33-26-9) got goals from T.J. Brennan, on the power play, and Byron Froese to send the game to extra time. Josh Leivo added the other for the Maple Leafs' affiliate.

Andrew Agozzino struck twice for Lake Erie (31-26-12), the farm club of the Colorado Avalanche. Michael Schumacher had the other, as the Monsters opened the game with three straight goals.

Antoine Bibeau got the win in relief after stopping all 11 shots he faced. Christopher Gibson started for the Marlies and turned away 18-of-21 shots in 30:56 before being pulled. Calvin Pickard made 26 saves for Lake Erie.

Toronto scored once on five power-play opportunities while the Monsters went 1 for 4 with the man advantage.
