TORONTO - Byron Froese scored twice in the third period to lift the Toronto Marlies over the Oklahoma City Barons 3-2 on Wednesday in American Hockey League action.

Froese's second goal came at the 16:05 mark of the third for Toronto (31-24-9), which has won four straight. Captain Troy Bodie also scored for the Marlies, while Christopher Gibson made 21 saves.

David Ling and Joshua Winquist gave Oklahoma City (37-21-8) a 2-1 lead. Laurent Brossoit stopped 30 shots.

Both teams went 0 for 1 on the power play.
