The legend of Tiger Woods could take another giant step in today's final round at the U.S. Open.

With six holes remaining in Saturday's third round, Woods was five shots out of the lead. Entering today's final round, he has a one-stroke lead over Lee Westwood as he seeks his first major of 2008. That's why it's called Moving Day.

Woods fired a 1-under 71 on Saturday, highlighted by two eagles and two birdies. He also struggled through three bogeys and one double bogey.

Woods' march to the lead started late on Moving Day. First, he sunk a 70-foot putt for birdie on the 13th hole. Then, it was what appeared to be mistake on a chip that ended up skipping into the hole on 17. And the final touch was a 30-foot eagle putt to catapult him into the lead.

Adding to the drama, Woods has been limping around the course as he continues to recover from arthroscopic knee surgery.

"Is it getting worse? Yes, it is. I just keep telling myself that if it grabs me and if I get that shooting pain, I get it," Woods said Saturday. "But it's always after impact. So go ahead and just make the proper swing if I can."

He will be paired with Westwood and the twosome are set to tee off at 4:30pm et/1:30pm pt.

Among the Canadians, Mike Weir (+3) begins his round at 3:40pm et, Jon Mills (+9) at 12:30pm et, Ian Leggatt (+11) at 11am et and Stephen Ames (+12) 10:30am et.
