Last year's Hart Trophy winner has been out since the end of October with a lower-body injury. The 28-year-old has played in nine games this season with a 7-2 record, .935 save percentage, and 2.01 goals against average.

To make room for Price on the roster, the Canadiens sent goalie Dustin Tokarski to St. John's of the AHL.
