Harris, Cato, Howard named CFL's top players for July
Quarterbacks Trevor Harris and Rakeem Cato and defensive end Marcus Howard were named have been named the CFL's players of the month for July. Harris led the Toronto Argonauts to a 3-1 record despite the club having to play all of its games on the road.

TORONTO - Quarterbacks Trevor Harris and Rakeem Cato and defensive end Marcus Howard were named have been named the CFL's players of the month for July.
Harris led the Toronto Argonauts to a 3-1 record despite the club having to play all of its games on the road. Harris has completed 74.8 per cent of his passes for 1,177 yards with a league-best 11 TDs and just four interceptions.
Howard has amassed a league-best five sacks despite missing a game with the Edmonton Eskimos (3-1). He's on pace to surpass his career-high of 11 set in 2011.
Cato, a CFL rookie, has guided the Montreal Alouettes to two wins in his three starts. The former Marshall star sports a 72.2 per cent completion average with 822 yards and four TDs while averaging a solid 6.4 yards per rush.
