Hartnell, Talbot, Hammond named NHL's three stars of the week
Columbus Blue Jackets left-wing Scott Hartnell has been named the NHL's first star of the week. Hartnell led the NHL with five goals as the Blue Jackets won three of their four games last week. New York Rangers goaltender Cam Talbot was named the second star while Ottawa goaltender Andrew Hammond took third-star honours.

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Columbus Blue Jackets left-wing Scott Hartnell has been named the NHL's first star of the week.
Hartnell led the NHL with five goals as the Blue Jackets won three of their four games last week.
The Regina native has seven goals and two assists in his past nine games.
New York Rangers goaltender Cam Talbot was named the second star while Ottawa goaltender Andrew Hammond took third-star honours.
Talbot went 3-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and .969 save percentage as the Rangers moved into first place in the NHL standings.
Hammond posted a 3-0-0 record with a 1.30 goals-against average and .957 save percentage to help the Senators pull the within five points of the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.
