CALGARY -- Hockey Canada has hired Misha Donskov as manager of hockey operations, analytics and video.

Donskov had just been promoted to assistant general manager of the OHL's Ottawa 67's after two years as an associate coach.

Before that, the 37-year-old was an assistant coach and GM under Dale and Mark Hunter with the London Knights.

Donskov's hiring fills a couple of holes left by the departures of vice-president of hockey operations and national teams Brad Pascall and video coach Andrew Brewer.

Pascall left to be an assistant GM under Brad Treliving with the Calgary Flames, while Brewer left to be an assistant coach under Mike Babcock with the Detroit Red Wings.
