Charlotte, NC  - The Charlotte Hornets acquired guard Jeremy Lamb from the Oklahoma City Thunder ahead of Thursday night's NBA Draft.

The Thunder received guard Luke Ridnour and a conditional 2016 second-round draft pick.

Lamb averaged 6.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 47 games last season, his third with the Thunder. The former 12th overall pick of Houston in 2012 owns career averages of 7.0 points and 2.1 boards.

"Jeremy Lamb is a quality young wing player who we believe has the talent to help our team," said Hornets general manager Rick Cho in a statement Thursday. "We look forward to adding him to our rotation next season."

Ridnour has been a popular trade chip over the past two days. The 34-year-old was shipped to the Grizzlies from the Magic in exchange for the rights to 2013 second-round pick Janis Timma and then flipped to the Hornets for forward Matt Barnes.

The 12-year veteran averaged 4.0 points and 2.0 assists off the bench in 47 games for Orlando last season.
