Young winger Jonathan Huberdeau is mulling over a recent two-year deal offered by the Florida Panthers, according to TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie.

Since the 22-year-old is a restricted free-agent, teams have the ability to hand out offer sheets to Huberdeau, but McKenzie says nobody has taken that risk yet.

Huberdeau, a native of Saint-Jerome, PQ, scored 15 goals and added 39 assists over 79 games with the Panthers in 2014-15, his third season with the club. He has 38 goals and 75 helpers for 113 points over 196 career games, all in Florida.

The left winger was selected in the first round, third overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Panthers.
