HARTFORD, Conn. — Sven Andrighetto and Charles Hudon had a goal and an assist apiece as the St. John's IceCaps downed the Hartford Wolf Pack 5-2 on Sunday in American Hockey League action.

Joel Hanley, Bobby Farnham and Jeremy Gregoire also scored for the IceCaps (2-3-1) while Michael McCarron had two assists.

Matt Carey and Marek Hrivik replied for Hartford (2-2-0).

Charlie Lindgren made 23 saves for St. John's while Wolf Pack goaltender Mackenzie Skapski stopped 26 shots.

The IceCaps scored three goals in the first period for a 3-1 lead after the first 20 minutes.

Farham's goal, while shorthanded, extended the lead to 4-1 midway through the second period.

Carey brought Hartford to within two goals early in the third but Gregoire's empty-netter sealed St. John's victory with 29 seconds left.
