TORONTO - Charles Hudon and Stefan Fournier each scored twice to power the St. John's IceCaps to a 6-2 victory over the Marlies on Saturday in American Hockey League action, handing Toronto it's first regulation-time loss in a month.

Gabriel Dumont had a goal and two assists for the IceCaps (10-5-5), and Daniel Carr scored into an empty net with 26 seconds remaining.

Brendan Leipsic and Matt Fratin supplied the offence for the Marlies (15-4-1), who are 10-1-1 in their last 11 games after losing in regulation for the first time since Oct. 28.

Eddie Pasquale turned aside 24 shots for the win at Air Canada Centre. Toronto's Antoine Bibeau made 22 saves in the losing effort.

St. John's was 1 for 3 on the power play while the Marlies scored once on six chances with the man advantage.
