Edmonton Oilers

Winger Patrick Maroon was not on the ice for practice on Wednesday. The pending free agent logged 17:31 of ice time in Tuesday's loss to the Boston Bruins.

He has 14 goals and 30 points and 57 games with the Oilers this season.

As per the team's Twitter, the Oilers used the folllowing lines at their practice with Maroon missing:

Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets claimed defenceman Taylor Chorney off waivers from the Washington Capitals on Wednesday. 

The 30-year-old defenceman scored one goal and posted four points in 24 games with the Capitals this season.

He was waived Tuesday, one day after the Capitals acquired defenceman Michal Kempny from the Chicago Blackhawks.


Winnipeg Jets

The Jets assigned defenceman Tucker Poolman to the AHL's Manitoba Moose on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old has one goal and a plus-3 rating in 15 games this season.


Ottawa Senators

Mike Condon will start in net Wednesday against the Chicago Blackhawks. The 27-year-old has a 4-10-4 record this season with a .898 save percentage and a 3.40 goals against average.

Head coach Guy Boucher said Tuesday Ryan Dzingel will also rejoin the lineup.


New Jersey Devils

Goaltender Cory Schneider returned to practice on Wednesday. He's been out since Jan. 23 due to a groin injury.

Schneider has a 17-11-6 record this season with a 2.79 goals against average and a .913 save percentage. 


Buffalo Sabres

Injured goaltender Robin Lehner returned to practice on Wednesday. Lehner was injured in the team's loss on Saturday to the Los Angeles Kings and later ruled day-to-day with a hip injury. 


Chicago Blackhawks
