Montreal Canadiens

Shea Weber has returned to the Canadiens lineup against the Detroit Re wings after being listed as a game time decision. Weber had been out for the last six games with a lower-body injury. 

Defenceman Brandon Davidson was placed on waivers Saturday by the Canadiens to make room for Shea Weber. Weber is a game-time decision to make his return to the lineup after missing the last six games.

In other Habs' roster notes, Jonathan Drouin took part in the team's morning skate Saturday ahead of their game against the Detroit Red Wings.

Goalie Carey Price will start his fifth game in eight days. Price is 4-0 with a 1.25 goals against average and one shutout since returning to action last Saturday.

Ottawa Senators

Senators coach Guy Boucher says RW Bobby Ryan will be a game time decision for Sunday's game against the Winnipeg Jets. The 30-year-old was slashed by New York Islanders D Nick Leddy during Friday's 6-5 win, and although x-rays came back negative Ryan is still experiencing soreness. He has one goal and eight assists in 11 games with the Senators this season. 

The Senators claimed forward Chris DiDomenico off waivers from the Tampa Bay Lightning. DiDomenico was claimed by the Lightning off waivers from the Senators earlier in the season. The 28-year-old didn't play any games with the Lightning, but had three goals and three assists in 12 games for the Sens this year.


Toronto Maple Leafs

Leafs centre Tyler Bozak is sick and will miss the team's game against the Vancouver Canucks. Josh Leivo will take Bozak's spot in the lineup.

Bozak has four goals and seven assists in 27 games for the Leafs this season.


Winnipeg Jets

Head coach Paul Maurice confirmed Connor Hellebuyck will start in net for the Jets Sunday against the Ottawa Senators. Steve Mason skated Saturday with goalie coach Wade Flaherty and the team hopes he will start to take some shots in the near future.

Mason has been out since suffering a concussion last week. Hellebuyck is 14-2-3 in 21 games for the Jets this season, with a 2.43 goals against average and .923 save percentage.


Boston Bruins

The Bruins could welcome winger Anders Bjork back to the lineup Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers. - Boston Globe

Bjork has been out since November 11 when he was hit by Matt Martin in a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 21-year-old Bjork has three goals and six assists in 16 games for Boston this season.


Detroit Red Wings

Martin Frk could return for the Red Wings Saturday when they take on the Canadiens. - Detroit News

The 24-year-old skated Friday and said he will be ready to go against the Canadiens, according to the Detroit News report.

Red Wings head coach Jeff Blashill hadn't yet confirmed Frk would be making his return after missing eight games with a groin injury.

In 18 games for Detroit this season Frk has six goals and three assists.


Florida Panthers

James Reimer is expected to get the start in net for the Panthers Saturday against the Carolina Hurricanes after Roberto Luongo started Friday night in the team's 2-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks. - Sun Sentinel

Reimer has played in 12 games for the Panthers this season, recording a 4-6-1 record with a 3.73 goals against average and a .889 save percentage.

The Senators claimed Chris DiDomenico off waivers from the Lightning.

The Canadiens placed Brandon Davidson on waivers.

The Oilers' Iiro Pakarinen cleared waivers.
