Pittsburgh Penguins

Star winger Phil Kessel is the lineup for tonight's game against the Washington Capitals. Head coach Mike Sullivan had said earlier in the day that Kessel would be a game-time decision because of the lower-body injury that he's currently dealing with. Fellow forward Derick Brassard will miss a third consecutive game with a lower-body injury. Matt Murray will be between the pipes for the Pens. - Team Tweets 


New Jersey Devils

After missing the past 31 games with a concussion, the Devils activated forward Marcus Johansson from the injured reserve on Sunday, but will not play against the Montreal Canadiens Sunday night from the Bell Centre. Johansson, 27, suffered his second concussion of the season on Jan. 23 against the Boston Bruins when forward Brad Marchand elbowed him in the head. He has five goals and nine assists over 29 games this season, his first with the Devils. Tampa Bay Lightning

Forward Ryan Callahan, who has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury, will return to action Sunday against the Nashville Predators, according to head coach Jon Cooper. - Team Tweet


Boston Bruins 

Head coach Bruce Cassidy gave updates on four of his injured players ahead of their clash with the Philadelphia Flyers Sunday afternoon. Defenceman Brandon Carlo was stretchered off the ice Saturday during a game against the Florida Panthers after falling awkwardly on his left ankle. Cassidy said there is a lot of swelling but no definitive answer on the extent of the injury. Riley Nash, who also left Saturday's game after getting hit in the head with a shot, received 40 stiches and could return to the lineup for Thursday's game against the Panthers. Defenceman Zdeno Chara returned to lineup Sunday while Charlie McAvoy remains out but could return Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. - Team Tweet
