Montreal Canadiens 

TSN's John Lu reports that forward Jonathan Drouin will not play tonight against the St. Louis Blues. He was supposed to skate this morning, but came down with a virus and was sent home. Head coach Claude Julien hopes he will be back on the ice tomorrow.

Drouin has five goals and 12 assists in 25 games in his first season in Montreal. 

RW Ales Hemsky is apparently making progress rehabbing from an October concussion, despite not skating yet. He has been out since Oct. 26 and their is no timetable on his return. 


 

Toronto Maple Leafs

C Tyler Bozak practised with the team on Tuesday and hopes he will be ready for Wednesday's game against the Calgary Flames. The 31-year-old was out during Saturday's 2-1 loss to Vancouver with food poisoning. 

Bozak has four goals and seven assists in 27 games for the Leafs. 


 

Vancouver Canucks 

D Evan McEneny has undergone knee surgery and is expected to be out for six months. The 23-year-old did not play for the Canucks this season but did play 11 games for the Utica Comets (AHL), recording two goals and five assists.

Anaheim Ducks 

D Hampus Lindholm will not play in Las Vegas on Tuesday night due to a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old Swede has three goals and five assists in 19 games for the Ducks this season. 


 

Buffalo Sabres 

D Nathan Beaulieu did not take part in practice Monday because of an illness, and is not expected to travel with the team to Colorado on Tuesday. The 25-year-old has three assists in 20 games in his first season with the Sabres. 


 

Florida Panthers

G Roberto Luongo left Monday's 5-4 shootout loss to the New York Islanders with a lower-body injury. The veteran netminder sustained the injury early in the second period and had to be helped off the ice. 

Darren Dreger reports that Luongo will have an MRI Tuesday and that the injury is thought to be groin related. 

The 38-year-old has played in 15 games for Florida this season, posting a 6-6 record, with a 2.61 goals-against average, .928 save percentage, and one shutout. 


 

Los Angeles Kings 

LW Andy Andreoff and LW Kyle Clifford both took part in practice on Monday. Andreoff has been out since November 25 and Clifford since October 11, both with upper-body injuries. The Kings face the Wild tonight at the Staples Center.


 

New York Rangers 

C Mika Zibanejad was on a stationary bike on Monday. The 24-year-old has been out since Nov. 26 with a concussion. Zibanejad has 11 goals and 11 assists in 24 games this season. 

There's no time table on his return to the Rangers lineup. 

The Rangers have placed G Marek Mazanec on waivers. The Czech goalie has not played a game for New York. 


 

San Jose Sharks 

According to Sharks coach Peter DeBoer, D Paul Martin is close to returning. The veteran defenceman has been out since Oct. 7, with an ankle injury. He had four goals and 22 assists in 81 games last seaosn. 


 

Washington Capitals 

RW TJ Oshie left Monday night's game against the San Jose Sharks with an upper-body injury. The American winger sustained the injury after being hit by Sharks C Joe Thornton, while he was on his knees. He will be reevaluated on Tuesday. 

In 28 games, Oshie has 10 goals and 13 assists and is third on the Capitals roster in points.
