Calgary Flames

Jiri Hudler was on the ice briefly with a green jersey.Head coach Bob Hartley said his lower body injury was aggravated, believed to be his groin

Frolik took a regular turn on the Backlund line this morning but is still not a guarantee to go in Edmonton. "We're not sure," Hartley.

Colborne was a healthy scratch last game. When asked about that decision Hartley said that they needed more from him. "He's not a kid anymore." There's a good chance that he's back in the line up on the fourth line tomorrow.

Montreal Canadiens

Dale Weise is expected to return tomorrow at St. Louis after being sidelined with a right thumb injury at the Winter Classic. - TSN

Daniel Carr and Sven Andrighetto were sent down to St. John's. Jacob De la Rose was recalled and will join the team in St. Louis. He'll skate at fourth line LW to add some size and heaviness to that unit, according to Michel Therrien. - TSN

Alex Galchenyuk was moved from centre to David Desharnais' LW for the third period last night and Therrien suggests that that combination will continue (at least in the short term). Therrien's rationale is that Galchenyuk needs to be more responsible in his own end at centre, and that moving him back to LW will remove some of the defensive responsibilities that were apparently a shortfall. - TSN

Carey Price skated for a fifth straight day, no goalie equipment. He will not accompany the team on its weekend trip to STL and CHI. - TSN

Ottawa Senators

Andrew Hammond is back with the Senators after three days away from the team for personal reasons. Ottawa visits Los Angeles on Saturday and play San Jose on Monday. - Ottawa Citizen

Toronto Maple Leafs

James Reimer looks for his first win since Nov. 20 as the Leafs try to put an end to the Blackhawks nine-game win streak. Toronto is in danger of losing four in a row for the first time since October. Reimer is 0-4-1 since late November, missing 12 games due to a groin injury in that span. - TSN

Big focus for Mike Babcock tonight will be his team's start. Babcock wasn't happy with the Leafs first period against Columbus. He felt they lacked energy early in a 3-1 loss. Chicago, for that matter, has the most first period goals (40) in the league this season. Babcock noted the Blackhawks getting up quick on the Canadiens last night. "If we come out and watch 'em instead of playing it can get ugly fast," Babcock said. - TSN
