Calgary Flames 

RW Jaromir Jagr will miss Wednesday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs due to a lower-body injury. The 45-year-old has one goal and six assists in 17 games in his first season in Calgary. 


Edmonton Oilers 

Oilers coach Todd McLellan gave some injury updates today. Saying D Andrej Sekera is aiming for a return between Christmas and new year, but D Adam Larsson's injury remains unclear.

Montreal Canadiens 

C Jonathan Drouin missed Wednesday's practice with the flu. The Habs number one centre has already been out since November 25 with a lower-body injury. 

It remains unclear if he will be available for Thursday's game against the Calgary Flames. 

LW Artturri Lehkonen was skating one-on-one with Head Athletic Therapist Graham Rynbend on Wednesday. The 22-year-old Finn has been out since November 11 with a lower-body injury. Lehkonen has two goals and three assists in 18 games with Montreal this season. 


Toronto Maple Leafs 

C Tyler Bozak will return for Wednesday's game against the Calgary Flames according to Mark Masters. The 31-year-old had food poisoning and missed Saturday's game against the Vancouver Canucks.

Bozak has four goals and seven assists in 27 games this season. 


Vancouver Canucks 

C Bo Horvat left during Vancouver's 3-0 win over the Carolina Hurricanes Tuesday, after going awkwardly into the boards. Canucks coach Travis Green said it was a "small injury, so we kept him out." Horvat will being getting a MRI soon. 

The 22-year-old has 10 goals and 10 assists in 28 games this season and his status for Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers has not been determined. 


Anaheim Ducks

RW Jakob Silfverberg will be a game-time decision for tonight's game against the Ottawa Senators. He has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury. 

Silfverberg has six goals and six assists in 25 games.


 Boston Bruins 

C Ryan Spooner missed Wednesday's practice and is questionable for Thursday's game against the Arizona Coyotes with a lower-body injury. He has one goal and three assists in 10 games with the Bruins this season. 

Jake DeBrusk is dealing with a lower-body injury and will be a gane-time decision on Thursday. 


Chicago Blackhawks 

Coach Joel Quenneville says G Corey Crawford is back in Chicago skating and that there is a chance he could return as early as Sunday against the Arizona Coyotes. 

Crawford went on the injured reserve with a lower-body injury. 


Colorado Avalanche

LW Gabriel Landeskog has finished his four game suspension for cross checking Matthew Tkachuk of the Calgary Flames. The Avalanche captain will return for Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Landeskog has nine goals and eight assists in 22 games for Colorado. 


Dallas Stars 

G Ben Bishop will not travel with the team to St. Louis as he is dealing with a sore back. The 31-year-old has posted a 13-8 record, with a 2.68 goals against average, .910 save percentage, and two shutouts in 23 games this season. 


Florida Panthers

Panthers coach Bob Boughner says G Roberto Luongo could miss anywhere from two to five weeks with a lower-body injury he suffered on Monday aginst the New York Islanders. The veteran goaltender had an MRI Tuesday and Boughner confirmed the injury is not related to his previous hip injury.  

James Reimer will take over the starting position and the team has called up Harri Sateri from the Springfield Thunderbirds (AHL). 


Los Angeles Kings 

RW Marian Gaborik recorded his 400th career goal in the third period of a 5-2 win over Minnesota Tuesday night. On the same play C Anze Kopitar recorded his 500th career assist. 


Minnesota Wild 

The Wild have called up Joel Eriksson Ek up from the AHL after a seven game stint in which he scored three goals and four assists in seven games for the Iowa Wild. 

The 20-year-old Swede has one goal and two assists in Minnesota. 


New York Rangers 

G Alexandar Georgiev has been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL). 


Philadelphia Flyers 

D Brandon Manning and G Michal Neuvirth have been put on injured reserve. The team has called up D TJ Brennan and G Alex Lyon from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) to replace them on the roster. 

 Manning is expected to miss three to four weeks with a hand injury. He has three goals and three assists in 22 games this season. Neuvirth has a 2-5-1 record with a 2.65 goals against average, .915 save percentgae, and one shutout in eight games.  


Pittsburgh Penguins 

Penguins coach Mike Sullivan says that G Matt Murray has started skating but is not ready to practice with the team. The Thunder Bay-native has been out since November 27 with a lower-body injury.

In 21 games Murray has a 11-7-1 record, a 2.95 goals against average, .906 save percentage, and one shutout.   

D Justin Schultz left Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the New York Rangers with a lower body injury. He sustained the injury in the first period and attempted to return in the second, but had to leave.  

C Greg McKegg has been placed on waivers.


San Jose Sharks 

The NHL Department of Player Safety D Brenden Dillon has been suspended one game for a slash on Madison Bowey of the Washington Capitals  He will forfeit $17,580.65 in wages. 

The 27-year-old has five assists in 26 games this season. 


Washinton Capitals 

Capitals coach Barry Trotz does not know if RW TJ Oshie will be able to practice with the team tomorrow as he continues to be hampered with a upper-body injury. 

LW Andre Burakovsky looks set to return Friday against the New York Rangers according to Trotz. The 22-year-old Austrain winger has been out since since October 21 with a broken thumb.
