Montreal Canadiens

Carey Price is set to get the start in goal for the Montreal Canadiens as they host the Senators. Price was able to beat Ottawa last weekend, but the Canadiens followed that up by losing to Detroit and Carolina on home ice. This is a huge game for both teams as Ottawa is just one point behind Montreal for top spot in the Atlantic Division standings. Price has a 33-18-5 record with a 2.27 goals-against-average and a .922 save percentage.

Mark Stone returns tonight against the Canadiens after missing the last 7 games with a lower body injury. 

Fredrik Claesson will pair up with Erik Karlsson in the wake of Mark Methot's finger injury. Craig Anderson starts in goal.

The Edmonton Oilers turn to Laurent Brossoit in goal tonight against the Avalanche. Cam Talbot getting some rest. This will be Brossoit's third start of the season and first since February 21.

Boston Bruins

Bruins goalie Tuuka Rask will not dress tonight as Boston vists New York to take on the Islanders. Rask is dealing with a lower-body injury. Anton Khubodin will start and Zane McIntyre will back him up.

 

The Bruins are tied with the Islanders for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.


New York Rangers

The Rangers are in Los Angeles to play the Kings. Dan Girardi returns to the team. He's missed the last 12 games with an ankle injury.

 


Los Angeles Kings

Johnny Brodzinski is expected to make his NHL debut for the Kings tonight. 

The 5th round pick (148 overall) from the 2013 NHL entry draft scored 25 goals in 56 games with the AHL's Ontario Reign this season. He's expected to be on a line with Nic Dows and Adrian Kempe.

Florida Panthers

The Panthers will be without defenceman Aaron Ekblad for the next five games.

Ekblad has a sore neck and has been dealing with headaches. Panthers coach/GM Tom Rowe said that it's not related to Ekblad's concussion.
