Senators captain Erik Karlsson will miss his second consecutive game Saturday night with a lower-body injury. However, general manager Pierre Dorion said Karlsson would be in the lineup if it was a playoff game. The Sens clinched a spot in the playoffs after beating the Boston Bruins Thursday night. - Steve Lloyd, TSN
Montreal Canadiens
With the Tampa Bay Lightning battling for their playoff lives, the Habs will go with Carey Price between the pipes Friday night in a game the Bolts must win. Tampa and the New York Islanders are three points behind the Toronto Maple Leafs for the second Wild Card Spot in the Eastern Conference. Each team has two games remaining. The 29-year-old Price is 37-19-5 with a 2.20 goals-against average and a 0.924 save percentage. - Chantal Machabee, RDS
In other news, defenceman Shea Weber (lower-body) and Jordie Benn (upper-body) will both be ready to go for Game 1 of their playoff series against the New York Rangers next week. Weber won't play tomorrow against the Red Wings, but will take part in practice on Monday. Benn, on the other hand, might be ready to go Saturday. Markus Foligno will not again this season, he has a 7-10 day recovery timeline for an injury.
Winnipeg Jets
The team signed forward Jansen Harkins to a three-year entry level contract. The 19-year-old was selected in the second-round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the Jets and has 72 points in 64 games with the WHL's Prince George Cougars this season. Harkins has an amateur tryout contract with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL for the rest of this season. - Team Release
