TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS
James Reimer said he expects to practice Friday and play this weekend after sitting out today's workout with a lower-body injury. "It’s not a guarantee because anything could happen or what not, but should be good to go for the weekend," he said. Reimer had to leave practice Tuesday with some discomfort. "Lots of these injuries that happen in practice you get scared and you scare yourself and then you get off and then you find out it’s not quite as bad," Mike Babcock said of Reimer. - TSN
Roman Polak, who apparently couldn't put his foot into his skate Tuesday, returned to practice Wednesday and is expected to play Saturday.
