Buffalo Sabres

While defenceman Dmitry Kulikov has been ruled out for tonight's contest against the Devils, centre Ryan O'Reilly remains a game-time decision for the contest, head coach Dan Bylsma said Friday.

O'Reilly has missed the previous two games with an undisclosed injury. 

Carolina Hurricanes

The team placed defenceman Justin Faulk on injured reserve, retroactive to November 7, with an upper-body injury. Faulk suffered the injury against the New Jersey Devils on Nov. 6 and has not played since. 

Forward Phil Di Giuseppe has been assigned to the AHL's Charlotte Checkers, the Hurricanes also announced Friday.

Defenceman Jakub Nakladal was placed on waivers by the Hurricanes on Friday.

Chicago Blackhawks

Thriving centre Artem Anisimov is questionable for tonight's game against the Washington Capitals. The Russian who owns 17 points on the season suffered a lower-body injury in Wednesday's win over the St. Louis Blues. Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said Thursday that Anisimov is also considered questionable for Sunday's contest against the Montreal Canadiens. - Chicago Tribune.

Forward Andreas Athanasiou is set to miss one-to-two weeks with a knee sprain, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports. The 22-year-old owns four goals and one assist in 13 games this season.
