BEAVER CREEK, Colo. - American football isn't getting into the Summer Olympics anytime soon. International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach said at the world ski championships Tuesday that one condition for inclusion into the Olympics is a sport "must have a broad international representation. This I cannot see in football. It's a very American sport."

Still, he enjoyed being in Arizona for the Super Bowl and watching Tom Brady lead New England to the title Sunday. Bach tried to keep up, but didn't understand the rules. That's not the reason Bach doesn't see it as a sport in the Olympic program sometime.

Soccer is more of a global sport than American football. Bach said he talked to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who didn't try to push for football's inclusion into the Olympics.
