Raleigh, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - New York Islanders forward Michael Grabner will return to the team's lineup for Tuesday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Grabner, sidelined since Feb. 7 by an upper-body injury, was activated from injured reserve prior to Tuesday's contest. Center Casey Cizikas, who sustained a lower-body injury in Monday's loss to the New York Rangers, was placed on IR in a corresponding move.

The 27-year-old Grabner has missed the Islanders' last five games and has been limited to just 18 this season by various injuries, having posted five goals and two assists over that span.

Cizikas has already matched a career best with six goals thus far in 2014-15, while totaling 14 points through 53 overall games.
