Toronto Blue Jays reliever Bo Schultz has undergone Tommy John Surgery the team confirmed on Wednesday.

 

The 31-year-old appeared in 16 games for the Jays in 2016 and posted an 0-1 record with 5.51 ERA in 16.1 innings.

He pitched in six Spring Training games for the Jays, none since March 17th, and had a 1-1 mark with one save and a 6.75 ERA before being forced to see a doctor due to elbow soreness.
