Salt Lake City, UT - Utah Jazz rookie guard Rodney Hood will be out through the NBA All-Star break due to a recurring left foot injury.

Hood underwent an MRI on Tuesday after exiting Sunday's 89-69 loss to San Antonio. The results showed that Hood has left foot inflammation, an injury that has made him miss time earlier this season, and must wear a boot for at least a week.

The 22-year-old, who was drafted 23rd overall from Duke in 2014, has averaged 5.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 24 games (five starts) this season.
