NEW YORK, N.Y. - Chicago Blackhawks right-winger Patrick Kane, Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby and Colorado Avalanche centre Matt Duchene were named NHL three stars of the month on Tuesday.

Kane led all players with 15 assists and 23 points in November. He had at least one point in all 13 games the Blackhawks played last month.

Holtby went 9-2-0 with a 1.99 goals-against average, .927 save percentage and one shutout. Duchene led all players with 11 goals and was second in the league with 20 points over 14 games.
